Within an oblique scale exercise, Radial Theatre revisits El Greco’s The Burial of the Count of Orgaz in an attempt to extract an inner cyclic mechanism from its visual, and therefore, theological strata. As such, through an computational anamorphic projection, the original image was digitally distorted, cut and printed into wood as a way of transformimng the original painting into an orrery capable of describing distinguished geometric and metaphysical orbits.
All chapters had several screenings during 2015 as part of the musical programme curated by Pedro Santos, Pedro Centeno and Carla Filipe for the Passos Manuel
cinema, Porto, Portugal.
